Storage Bin Preparation

  1. Measure hole from the wall to the center of the hole. Mark drill point.

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement A:

    1.40 in (35 mm)

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement B:

    2 in (50 mm)

  2. Drill hole in bottom of storage bin.

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement:

    1 1/4 in (32 mm)

  3. Measure from the wall to the center of the first hole. Mark drill point.

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement A:

    1 in (24 mm)

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement B:

    3.20 in (81 mm)

  4. Measure from the wall to the center of the second hole. Mark drill point.

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement C:

    1.50 in (37 mm)

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement D:

    0.70 in (17 mm)

  5. Drill two holes.

    MEASUREMENT

    Measurement:

    1/4 in (6 mm)

RIDE COMMAND+ Plug-In Installation

  1. Install RIDE COMMAND+ Plug-In (sold separately) on four storage bin posts with four screws 5. Tighten until fully seated.

    Do not overtighten.

  2. Install grommet 2 on harness 1 near the plug-in connector 6F.

  3. Put harness 1 connector 6F through 1 1/4 in hole. Install grommet 2 in hole.

  4. Connect plug-in connector to 6F connector.

  5. Route harness 1 under storage bin. Install two push pins 3 in 1/4 in holes.

  6. Unplug diagnostic port 8F from cap on vehicle. Location of port depends on model year.

    • Model Year 2022+

    • Model Year 2021 and older

  7. Connect harness diagnostic connector 8M to recently disconnected diagnostic port 8F.

  8. Connect harness chassis connector 8F to empty cap on vehicle.
