Battery Removal

  1. Access the battery from under the rearmost driver’s side seat.

  2. Disconnect the black (negative) battery cable first.

  3. Disconnect the red (positive) battery cable last.

  4. Remove the battery hold-down strap.

  5. Lift the battery out of the vehicle.
