Shock Springs
The factory spring settings are appropriate for nearly all riding conditions. If desired, the suspension may be adjusted to maintain vehicle ride height when carrying front or rear payloads. The shock absorber springs are adjusted by rotating the cam clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease spring tension.
To adjust the shock spring preload, do the following:
-
Locate the spanner wrench supplied with your ATV from the vehicle toolkit.
-
To increase preload, turn the cam clockwise using the spanner wrench.
-
To decrease preload, turn the cam counterclockwise using the spanner wrench.
-
Adjust the opposite shock to the identical setting.

-
2 Softest Adjustment Setting

Always heed the following rules if you make adjustments to this suspension:
-
Always return the suspension to the softest 3 setting after the load is removed from the vehicle. The increased suspension height will negatively impact vehicle stability when operating without a load.
-
Always apply the same adjustment setting to both sides of the vehicle suspension.
