Automatic Transmission Gear Selector

The transmission gear selector 2 is located on the right side of the vehicle.


H: High Gear
L: Low Gear
N: Neutral
R: Reverse
P: Park

To shift gears, brake to a complete stop. When the engine is idling, move the lever to the desired gear.

NOTE
Shifting gears with the engine speed above idle or while the vehicle is moving could cause transmission damage.

Whenever the ATV is left unattended, always place the transmission in PARK and lock the parking brake.

TIP

To extend belt life, use low forward gear when pulling a heavy load at less than 7 mph (11 kph) for extended periods and when operating uphill at a slow speed.
