Electronic Power Steering (EPS) (if equipped)
Electronic power steering engages when the ignition key is turned to the ON position. EPS remains engaged whether the vehicle is moving or idle.
To conserve batter power, the EPS will shut down 5 minutes after the engine is stopped if the key remains in the on position. Any movement of the steering wheel will reactive the EPS. The EPS warning indicator will not illuminate.
The EPS warning indicator will illuminate to indicate there is a fault involving the EPS. This could lead to the EPS shutting down drive with caution. See your POLARIS dealer, or other qualified person, as soon as possible for repair. Continued operation could result in permanent damage to the EPS unit and increased steering effort.
