Battery Removal

  1. Remove the front rack.

  2. Remove the battery hold-down strap fasteners.

  3. Disconnect the negative (black) cable first. Then disconnect the positive (red) cable.

  4. Carefully lift the battery out of the battery support bracket.

  5. Charge the battery.
