Ignition Switch (Machine Directive Models Only)
The ignition switch1 is a three-position, key-operated switch. The key can be removed from the switch when it is in the OFF position.
| OFF | The engine is off. Electrical circuits are off. |
| ON | Electrical circuits are on. Electrical equipment can be used. |
| START | Turn the key to the START position to engage the electric starter. The key returns to the ON position when released. |
