Auxiliary Foot Brake
Use caution when applying the auxiliary brake. Do not aggressively apply the auxiliary brake when going forward. The rear wheels may skid and slide sideways, causing loss of control and serious injury or death.

The auxiliary brake system is intended to be used as a backup for
the main brake system. Should the main system fail, use the auxiliary
            foot brake 1.
The auxiliary foot brake is
located on the inside of the right footrest. Operate this brake with
your right foot. If the rear wheels slide while using the auxiliary
brake, reduce brake pedal pressure to brake the rear wheels
            without skidding.
