Fluid Change

The drain plug 1 is located on the bottom of the gearcase. Access the drain plug through the drain hole in the skid plate.

1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.

2. Remove the fill plug with 8mm Allen wrench.

3. Place a drain pan under the drain plug.

4. Remove the drain plug with a 8mm Allen wrench.

5. Clean the drain plug.

6. Reinstall the drain plug.

   TORQUE

   Drain Plug Torque:

   10–14 ft-lbs (14–19 Nm)

7. Add the recommended fluid (listed in the Gearcase Specification Chart) through the fill plug hole until the fluid is even with the bottom of the fill plug hole.

8. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to specification. Torque to specification.

   TORQUE

   Fill Plug Torque:

   10–14 ft-lbs (14–19 Nm)

9. Clean any fluid residue from around the drain and fill plugs.

10. Dispose used fluid properly.
