Storing the Vehicle

Any time the vehicle will be parked for more than a few days, follow the recommended storage procedures:

  1. Make any necessary repairs and clean the vehicle.

  2. Store the vehicle out of the sun in a cool, dry place.

  3. Be sure the storage area is well ventilated.

  4. Turn the key off.

  5. DO NOT set the park brake.

  6. Verify that tire pressure is at specification.

  7. Block the wheels to prevent rolling.

  8. Store With an Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Cable Connected. See Ideal Conditions for Storage
