Front Suspension Adjustment

NOTICE
See ELEVATING THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE for information on how to safely raise the vehicle.

The front suspension can be adjusted to provide a stiffer suspension, if necessary.

  1. Support the vehicle securely with a jack stand.

  2. Remove the top shock mounting bolts from the inside mounting positions1.

  3. Reposition the shocks to the outside mounting holes2.

  4. Reinstall the shock mounting bolts. Torque to 44 ft-lbs (60 Nm).
