Hard Bag Removal

  1. Unlatch and open the lid.

  2. Remove rubber grommets 2.

  3. Remove the saddlebag fastener bolts behind the rubber grommets.

  4. Remove the saddlebag lower support bolts 1 from the passenger foot peg mount.

  5. Remove the saddlebag.

    WARNING
    Improper saddlebag installation can result in loss of control, accident and driving hazards for other motorists (if saddlebag falls from the motorcycle). Always make sure saddlebag are mounted properly.

  6. To reinstall, place the hard bag in position.

  7. Install the saddlebag fastener bolts and lower support bolt and torque to specification. Install rubber grommets over fastener bolts.

    TORQUE

    Saddlebag Fastener Bolts

    13 ft-lbs (18 N·m)

    Lower Support Bolt

    18 ft-lbs (25 N·m)
