Drive Belt Removal

  1. Remove CVT cover.

  2. Remove drive clutch nut 1 and washer 2.

  3. Remove the stationary sheave 3.

    NOTICE

    Hold inner (moveable) sheave inward when removing stationary sheave to prevent rollers from falling out of the clutch ramps.

  4. Remove the seal 4, driven clutch nut 5, and washer 6.

  5. Pull the driven clutch outward until the belt clears the crankcase.

  6. Remove belt from driven clutch.
