Tires
WARNING
Operating your ATV with worn tires, improperly
inflated tires, non-standard tires or improperly installed tires will
affect vehicle handling and could cause an accident resulting in serious
injury or death. Always follow all tire maintenance procedures as
outlined in this manual and on the labels on the vehicle. Always use
original equipment size and type when replacing tires.
Refer to the Specifications chapter for recommended tire type, size, and pressure.
Tire Aging
WARNING
Tires age, even if they are unused or only used occasionally. Evidence of aging could appear as cracks in the treads or sidewall rubber, sometimes accompanied by carcass deformation. Old tires should be checked by tire specialists to determine their suitability for further use.
