Fuse Replacement

Primary Fuse Box

There are two fuse boxes located under the hood.

The primary fuse box 1 is located near the brake fluid reservoir. The six main system fuses are located in the battery compartment (seven for Canadian models).

  1. Open the hood.

  2. Pull the yellow locking tabs out, then squeeze the fuse box cover tabs inward and remove the cover.

  3. Remove the spent fuse.

    NOTICE
    Always use the recommended fuse to prevent electrical system damage. Refer to the label on the fuse box cover.
  4. Install the new fuse.

  5. Reinstall the fuse box cover.

  6. Re-seat the yellow lock retainer on side of the fuse box cover by pushing in on all 4 corners of the fuse box cover.

Secondary Fuse Box

The secondary fuse box 2 is located closer to the front.

  1. Open the hood.

  2. Unlatch the two yellow locking tabs by pushing them away from the fuse box cover. When both latches are unlatched, remove the fuse box cover.

  3. Remove the spent fuse.

    NOTICE
    Always use the recommended fuse to prevent electrical system damage. Refer to the label on the fuse box cover.
  4. Install the new fuse.

  5. Reinstall the fuse box cover.
