Side Panel / Footwell Installation

LEFT SIDE PANEL / FOOTWELL

  1. Install the footwell onto the vehicle. Loosely install the four fasteners and four nuts into the bottom of the footwell.

    NOTICE
    Observe the condition of each push rivet and check for damage. If damaged, Polaris recommends that you replace the push rivet before installation.

  2. Loosely install the two fasteners and two nuts into the passenger footrest.

  3. Loosely install the fastener into the bottom of the passenger footrest bracket tube.

  4. Loosely install the three fasteners and three nuts into the passenger footrest bracket.

  5. Loosely install the two fasteners securing the footwell to the rear cab.

  6. Install the two push rivets securing the footwell to the front cab.

  7. Install the side panel and close off panel onto the vehicle and install the four push rivets.

  8. Torque all fasteners to specification.

    TORQUE

    Footwell / Passenger Footrest to Chassis Fasteners:

    35 in-lbs (4 N·m)

    Passenger Footrest Bracket Tube Fastener:

    13 ft-lbs (18 N·m)

    Passenger Footrest Bracket Nuts:

    15 ft-lbs (20 N·m)

    Footwell to Rear Cab Fasteners:

    35 in-lbs (4 N·m)

  9. Install the seats. See Seat Installation.

RIGHT SIDE PANEL / FOOTWELL

  1. Install the footwell onto the vehicle. Loosely install the four fasteners and four nuts into the bottom of the footwell.

    NOTICE
    Observe the condition of each push rivet and check for damage. If damaged, Polaris recommends that you replace the push rivet before installation.

  2. Loosely install the two fasteners and two nuts into the passenger footrest.

  3. Loosely install the three fasteners and three nuts into the passenger footrest bracket.

  4. Loosely install the two fasteners securing the footwell to the rear cab.

  5. Install the two push rivets securing the footwell to the front cab.

  6. Install the close off shield onto the vehicle.

  7. Install the side panel onto the vehicle and install the two push rivets.

  8. Torque all fasteners to specification.

    TORQUE

    Footwell / Passenger Footrest to Chassis Fasteners:

    35 in-lbs (4 N·m)

    Passenger Footrest Bracket Nuts:

    15 ft-lbs (20 N·m)

    Footwell to Rear Cab Fasteners:

    35 in-lbs (4 N·m)

  9. Install the seats. See Seat Installation.
