People who are unable to feel pain or have reduced
sensitivity of the skin due to advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes,
spinal cord injury, medication, alcohol use, exhaustion, or other
physical condition must exercise care when using seat heaters. It
may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long
periods of time.

against heat, such as a blanket or cushion. This may cause the seat
heater to overheat. Sitting in a seat that has overheated could cause
serious burns due to the increased surface temperature of the seat.
WARNING
Do not puncture the seat with pins, needles,
or other pointed objects. This may damage the heating element which
may cause the heated seat to overheat. An overheated seat may cause
serious personal injury. Do not use the heated seat function if the
seat, seat cover, or control switch is damaged.
