Battery Removal



  1. Lift upward on the seat latch lever 1 and remove seat.

  2. Remove fasteners 2 that secure the battery box cover.

  3. Remove the battery box cover 3.

  4. Disconnect the black (negative) battery cable first.

  5. Disconnect the red (positive) cable last.

  6. Remove the battery 4 from the battery box.
