Battery Removal

  1. Access the battery from under the seat.

  2. Disconnect the black (negative) battery cable first.

  3. Disconnect the red (positive) battery cable last.

  4. Remove the two (2) battery bracket fasteners and remove the bracket.

  5. If equipped, remove the vent tube and slide the battery and bracket rearward.

  6. Lift the battery out of the vehicle.
