Belt Installation

  1. Remove lower sprocket bolt 5.

  2. Remove lower sprocket 6 and belt together.

  3. Place new belt over top sprocket 7. Then place lower sprocket 6 into belt.

  4. Use both hands to ensure the belt is fully seated around both the top and bottom sprockets.

  5. Once the belt is fully seated, align the bottom sprocket to the shaft and push onto shaft.

  6. Install lower sprocket bolt 5. Torque to specification.

    TORQUE

    Lower Sprocket Bolt 5:

    OPTION 1:

    Green Grade Bolt Marked 8.8

    44 ft-lbs (60 N·m)

    Apply Red Loctite® 263

    OPTION 2:

    Silver Grade Bolt Marked 10.9

    59 ft-lbs (80 N·m)

    Apply Red Loctite® 263

    NOTICE
    If top sprocket bolt is loosened or removed, the brake side bolt on jackshaft must be retightened (prior to tightening the sprocket bolt) to specification.

  7. Continue to the Belt Tightening procedure.
