Spark Plugs
Inspect spark plugs 1 after the break-in period and every 15,000 mi (24,000 km) thereafter. Replace spark plugs every 70,000 mi (112,000 km). Always replace spark plugs in pairs.

Make sure the engine has cooled to room temperature.

Turn the power switch off.

Pull upward on the spark plug boots (not the wires) to remove the boots.

To prevent debris from entering the spark plug holes, use compressed air to clean the area around the plugs before removing them.
Tool: 14 mm plug socket
CAUTIONWear eye and face protection when using pressurized air. -
Reinstall the spark plugs or install new plugs.

Reinstall the spark plug boots.
IMPORTANTThe spark plug boot is fully seated when the third rib on the boot is level with the spark plug hole as shown.
