Side Panel / Footwell Removal

LEFT SIDE PANEL / FOOTWELL

  1. Remove the seats. See Seat Removal.

  2. Use the multi-function pliers (included in your vehicle’s toolkit) to remove the four push rivets from the side panel.

  3. Lift the rear of the side panel assembly 1 and pull to the rear of the vehicle.

  4. Remove the six push rivets from the front left fender flare and remove the fender flare from the vehicle.

  5. Remove the eight push rivets from the rear left fender flare and remove the fender flare from the vehicle.

  6. Remove the four push rivets securing the footwell to the front cab, rear cab, and brake support bracket.

  7. Remove the three fasteners and three nuts from the passenger footrest bracket.

  8. Remove the two fasteners and two nuts from the passenger footrest.

  9. Remove the four fasteners and four nuts from the bottom of the footwell. Pull the footwell downward and outward to remove it.

RIGHT SIDE PANEL / FOOTWELL

  1. Remove the seats. See Seat Removal.

  2. Use the multi-function pliers (included in your vehicle’s toolkit) to remove the two push rivets from the side panel.

  3. Lift the rear of the side panel assembly 1 and pull to the rear of the vehicle.

  4. Remove the seven push rivets from the front right fender flare and remove the fender flare from the vehicle.

  5. Remove the eight push rivets from the rear right fender flare and remove the fender flare from the vehicle.

  6. Remove the five push rivets securing the footwell to the front cab, rear cab, and exhaust cover.

  7. Remove the three fasteners and three nuts from the passenger footrest bracket.

  8. Remove the two fasteners and two nuts from the passenger footrest.

  9. Remove the four fasteners and four nuts from the bottom of the footwell. Pull the footwell downward and outward to remove it.
