Pre-Delivery Inspection Checklist

NOTICE

The checklist below can be used to verify completion of pre-delivery items and can be provided to the customer.

VEHICLE FLUID LEVEL CHECKS - Verify all fluid levels are correct. Add fluid if required

q ENGINE OIL LEVEL - Verify oil level is correct

q ENGINE COOLANT (If applicable) - Inspect level in recovery bottle between MIN and MAX marks. Add coolant if needed

q TRANSMISSION - Add oil if needed

q FRONT AND REAR GEARCASE (If applicable) - Add oil if needed

VEHICLE EQUIPMENT FUNCTION CHECKS - Verify function of all items listed in this category

q TEMPORARY BRAKE LOCK (if equipped) - Verify proper operation

q RIDE COMMAND (if equipped) - Verify the function of the following: Ride Command display, GPS reads accurate location, Mapping within display, Audio plays through Ride Command or other factory equipped audio system

q GAUGES - Verify proper operation of vehicle gauges.

q DRIVELINE SWITCH (if equipped) - Verify driveline switch functions properly.

q DRIVE MODE SWITCH (if equipped) - Verify Drive Mode switch functions properly.

q WINCH (if equipped) - Verify winch functions properly.

q THROTTLE - Make sure the throttle moves smoothly through full range from idle to wide open. When throttle is released, make sure it returns to the idle position.

q BRAKES - Apply pressure to all brake levers/pedals (where applicable); brakes should feel firm. Make sure there are no leaks during or after brake application.

FINAL VEHICLE CHECKS - Verify all items are inspected

q PRODUCTION STICKER / PROTECTIVE FILM REMOVAL - Production stickers or protective films are located on many vehicle components. These stickers or films must be removed before customer delivery.

q COSMETIC INSPECTION - Inspect vehicle for damage and proper fit and finish

q BATTERY INSPECTION - Verify battery connections are tight, clean, and free of corrosion. Check voltage and charge if below 12.5 DC volts

q INTAKE / AIRBOX - Inspect hose connections and ensure that clamps are tight. Inspect air filter conditions

q TIRE PRESSURE - Verify pressure is set to specification

q LIGHTS - Verify operation and adjustment

q UNIT INQUIRY - Review UNIT INQUIRY for any factory directed modifications or applicable Team Tips, Service Communications, or Safety Communications for this VIN
