Onboard Air System

This vehicle is equipped with an onboard air system which can supply auxiliary air up to 150 PSI (10.3 Bar). The onboard air system is selectable via the onboard air switch in the console. To operate the onboard air system, do the following:

    WARNING
    • Always wear ANSI Z87.1+ approved safety glasses when using compressed air.

    • Verify the required inflation pressure for the item before inflating. Do not over-inflate.

    • Always monitor inflation and never leave the vehicle unattended during operation.

    • Never direct pressurized air at any part of the body or at other people or animals.

    • If using compressed air to remove debris from vehicle, use ANSI Z87.1+ approved safety goggles with full seal around eyes. Keep bystanders away.

    • The system may retain residual air pressure. Use care when disconnecting hoses or accessories, as stored energy may be released.

    • Use only hoses, fittings, and accessories rated for at least 150 psi. Do not use damaged hoses or loose connections.

    • Keep the air hose away from hot surfaces such as the exhaust. Do not pull hose too tight or route is where it can pinch and restrict airflow.

    • Do not allow children to operate onboard air system.

    • Disconnect hoses and air accessories and replace onboard air access panel before driving vehicle.

  6. When finished with the onboard air system, turn the system off by pressing the top of the switch. The light will change from blinking to solid. Return the air hose to its storage location.

  7. Replace the air hose dust cap to the air hose. Return the hose back into its storage location.

  8. Replace the driver’s side box access cover. Ensure that the cover is latched firmly in place to avoid loss.
