Towing Loads
Always follow these precautions when towing:

Always shift to low gear for towing.

When towing a disabled vehicle, place the disabled vehicle’s transmission in neutral. Do not operate the vehicle faster than 16 km/h (10 MPH) when towing.

Towing a trailer increases braking distance. Do not operate the vehicle faster than 16 km/h (10 MPH) when towing. Towing a trailer increases braking distance.

Do not tow more than the recommended weight for the vehicle. See the towing capacity chart below or the Specifications chapter.

Attach a trailer to the trailer hitch bracket only. Do not attach a trailer to any other location or you may lose control of the vehicle.

Never tow a trailer on a grade steeper than 15°.

Always be mindful of the trailer’s reaction to vehicle movements when driving off-road.

Using an improper hitch or exceeding the maximum tongue weight capacity can result in serious damage to the vehicle and will void your warranty.
Never install automotive accessories on your POLARIS vehicle. Always install POLARIS-approved (or equivalent) accessories designed for vehicle use.
Never install a hitch longer than 13 cm.
