Front Brake Lever
The front brake lever is located on the right handlebar. This lever controls only the front brakes on models not equipped with Electronic Combined Braking and activates both the front and rear brake systems on models equipped with Electronic Combined Braking. The front brakes should be applied simultaneously with the rear brakes. On models equipped with Electronic Combined Braking it is normal to feel some minor pulsations in the lever when both front and rear controls are activated simultaneously. To apply the front brake lever, pull the lever toward the handlebar. See Braking for braking procedures.

The front brake lever reach (distance to the hand grip) is adjustable. To adjust the front brake lever reach, do the following:
-
Gently push and hold the lever away from the hand grip. The adjuster wheel 1 is located on top of the lever.
-
To increase reach distance, rotate the adjuster to a lower number.
-
To decrease the reach distance, rotate the adjuster to a higher number.
