The front brake lever activates the front brake calipers. The rear brake pedal activates the rear brake caliper. On models equipped with Electronic Combined Braking, both the front and rear brake systems will activate when using the front brake lever or rear brake pedal. For maximum brake effectiveness, apply the front brake lever and the rear brake pedal together.
