Fuse Replacement

If the engine stops or will not start, or if you experience other electrical failures, a fuse may need replacement. Locate and correct any short circuits that may have caused the blown fuse, then replace the fuse. Spare fuses are included in your vehicle’s toolkit.

To replace a fuse, do the following:

  1. Unlock the front rack latches and open the front rack.

  2. Remove the front cover (under the headlight pod).

  3. Remove the fuse box cover.

  4. Remove the suspect fuse from the fuse panel. If the fuse is blown, install a new fuse with the same amperage.

  5. Secure the fuse box cover and front cover.

  6. Close and secure the front rack.
