Rear Gearcase Oil

See the Lubrication Guide for fluid recommendations, capacities, and plug torques. Always check and change the rear gearcase oil at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart. See the Polaris Products section for part numbers.

The fill plug 1 is located on the rear of the gearcase. The drain plug 2 is located on the bottom of the gearcase.

Maintain the fluid level 3 at the bottom of the fill hole threads. Do not overfill.
