Restarting the Engine

If the engine has been stopped using the engine stop switch, restart the engine using the normal starting procedure. If the engine fails to start, do the following:

  1. Re-install the tether switch by securing the tether cap to the base on the console. Ensure the end of the tether is secured to your clothing.

  2. Push the engine stop switch down to the OFF position.

  3. Turn the key to the OFF position.

  4. Pull the recoil rope handle several times to clear the engine.

  5. Restart the engine using the normal starting procedure.
