Clutch Warning

See Owner’s Manual for Belt Removal and Sheave Width Adjustment Procedure

  1. For electric reverse models, engine must be stopped in forward to allow clutch opening.

  2. Install L-wrench from fender into the open threaded hole in the driven clutch. Remove clutch guarding with 2 quarter turns.

  3. Turn the L-wrench clockwise to open the sheaves and replace the belt. Repeat process in reverse order to reassemble the clutch assembly and guarding.

Recommended Oil:

650 and 850 engines

VES Full Synthetic 2-Cycle Engine Oil

9R and Boost engines

VES Extreme Full Synthetic 2-Cycle Engine Oil
